Insurance & Paperwork

In addition to providing custodial home care and care management, The Lisa Vogel Agency also manages long-term care insurance billing and collecting. Completing the claim’s process can prove frustrating. We are able to call your insurance company to verify your policy information, submit your paperwork, and collect payment directly from your insurer. We save you the time and hassle of dealing with insurance companies.

When More Care is Needed

If the condition of your loved one changes, our extensive connections in the home care community give you ready access to a host of complementary services or resources.  This may include but not be limited to: skilled nursing, hospice, adult day care, moving and down-sizing services.

FAQs

Q: Can we meet the caregiver before we begin the services?
Yes. If time allows, we encourage a “meet and greet” to allow families and caregivers to get acquainted with one another and the details of the assignment.

Q: When can you start care?
In most instances, we can start care within eight to twelve hours of your request for services. We understand the need for care can come up quickly and we attempt to respond immediately.

Q: What happens if the condition of my family member changes, and they need a higher level of care?
When conditions change our care managers are able to assist and arrange other services as needed.

Q: What are your rates for service?
Our rates for service depend on the level of care required to keep your family member safe and comfortable. Please call for current rate information.

Q: How does billing work?
A: Every week we send an invoice to the individual who will be taking care of payments.
